Title Funding
The current reauthorization of ESEA is the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. Several funding streams stem from this source, including Title I, II, and IV. Each Title fund has a different focus. Realityworks products align to several different sections of the Title funding.

- ↓ Title I, Part D: Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth who are Neglected, Delinquent or At-Risk
Synopsis: This program provides financial assistance to educational programs for youths in state-operated institutions or community day programs. The goals are 1) to improve educational services for neglected, delinquent or at-risk youth so that they have the opportunity to meet the same challenging State academic content and academic achievement standards that all children in the State are expected to meet; 2) to provide services needed to make a successful transition from institutionalization to further schooling or employment; and 3) to prevent at-risk youth from dropping out of school, and to provide dropouts, and children and youth returning from correctional facilities or institutions for neglected or delinquent children and youth, with a support system to ensure their continued education.

- ↓ Title I, Part H: School Dropout Prevention
Synopsis: This program provides federal support for dropout prevention and reentry programs. The act authorizes grants that challenge all children to attain their highest academic potential through schoolwide programs proven effective in school dropout prevention and reentry.

Synopsis: The primary goal of this program is to improve student achievement through the use of technology in elementary and secondary schools.

- ↓ Title IV, Part A: Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities
Synopsis: The purpose of this funding is to support programs that prevent violence in and around schools; that prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs; that involve parents and communities; and that are coordinated with related federal, state, school, and community efforts and resources to foster a safe and drug-free learning environment that supports student academic achievement.

- ↓ Title IV, Part B Funding - 21st Cent. Community Learning Centers
Synopsis: This program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. This program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
