  1. The battery cover is difficult to get on and off. Is there an easy way to lock and remove the battery cover?
To open: lay Baby flat across your lap or on a table with the battery cover up. Press on cover with one hand and twist key counterclockwise to open. You may need to press on the Baby's bottom to get the battery cover to lift up. To close: lay Baby flat across your lap or on a table with battery cover up. Press on cover with one hand, then press the key in and twist clockwise to lock. Pressure over the CE logo on the battery cover will help.
The red light on the back of my Baby is flashing, what does that mean?
A flashing red light is a low battery indicator. Replace batteries with fresh name brand alkaline batteries.
I pressed the activation button, but the lights do not turn on, and Baby does not cry.
Possible problems are that the batteries are low or dead, or that the activation button is not pressed in fully. Replace batteries with fresh, name brand alkaline batteries if the red light on Baby’s back is flashing, or if the batteries are more than 30 days old. Use either the instructor key, or another blunt object to push down on the activation button. When using a finger, it is possible that the activation button does not get pressed in fully, and Baby will not turn on properly.
