Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
Realityworks is 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This means we have a culture of ownership and the employees benefit from the success of the company.
HISTORY
1994: Rick and Mary Jurmain founded Baby Think It Over, Inc®.
2003: The company names changed from BTIO to Realityworks as the product portfolio expanded for the Family and Consumer Sciences Market
2005: Jurmains step away from everyday operations and assign longtime employee Timm Boettcher as President
2011: Realityworks becomes employee-owned, giving employees shares of the company through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
2012: Product portfolio diversifies with invention of welding simulation and technology products
2016: Product portfolio further diversifies into additional CTE Pathways, Agriculture and Health Sciences
2021: Realityworks becomes 100% ESOP
