“We are thrilled to be recognized as the 2023 Wisconsin Employee-Owned Company of the Year,” said Timm Boettcher, President & CEO of Realityworks. “This recognition is a testament to the culture we strive for at Realityworks, where we believe a positive workplace culture is key to driving innovation, promoting collaboration and ultimately, delivering the best possible products and services to our customers.”
Since its founding in 1994, Realityworks has been committed to creating innovative, hands-on learning tools that help students develop critical skills for success in the real world. The company’s offerings range from the RealCare Baby® infant simulator, Realityworks’ flagship product, to virtual reality welding simulators, veterinary science trainers, nursing manikins and more.
Realityworks’ ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) was established in 2011 and in 2021, the company celebrated its transition to 100% employee-owned. Through Realityworks’ ESOP, all employees have a stake in the company’s success and share in its profits.
“We are proud to be based in Wisconsin and part of our local employee-ownership community,” said Boettcher. “We look forward to continuing to grow and innovate, and to making a positive impact on education and workforce development in our state and beyond.”
