Selecting the care schedule for each of your RealCare Baby infant simulators might be the most important part of the programming experience. After all, your decisions in this step are what might leave some students complaining that their Baby never seemed to stop crying, while others might boast that at least they were able to sleep through the night! How do you select the care schedule for each Baby, and how do you know what those care schedules entail?
When RealCare Baby Control Center Software is launched, a care schedule table appears. In this table, you can input all the details of your upcoming simulation: the Baby being programmed, its ID and babysitter ID, the start and stop day and time, and the care schedule order.
Some RealCare Baby Program users may have noticed that the “Schedule Order” always features five pre-assigned care schedules. These randomly selected schedules are pre-set by the software. But what do they mean exactly?
RealCare Baby is actually pre-programmed with 15 different care schedules, each of which is based on a real infant. You can use these 15 different care schedules, which are classified into Easy, Medium and Hard levels, to customize your student’s simulation experience – they’re all different!
For instance, Babies under Schedule 7 won’t require any care at all from 10pm-5am, while Babies under Schedule 1 will require care of some kind at 10pm, 11pm, midnight and 3am.
The five pre-assigned care schedules found under “Schedule Order” are randomly selected by the Control Center Software, but you can customize these schedules if you wish using the drop-down menu next to each number.
