Timm Boettcher was recently added to the speaking agenda for the 2013 Pathways to Prosperity Conference

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (March 14, 2013) – Realityworks, Inc. President and CEO Timm Boettcher was a speaker at the 2013 Creating Pathways to Prosperity Conference held at Harvard University. Mr. Boettcher joined three other speakers in a plenary session entitled, “Building Public Support for a Pathways Movement: How Do We Reach Beyond the Choir?”

The session focused on the tactics it takes to build support and awareness for pathways to life success through career and technical education (CTE), the community, technical colleges and more. Mr. Boettcher joined a panel of experts who have been involved in changing public perception and building support for the pathways movement. The panel included Mark Perna, CEO of Tools for Schools, Gail Gershon, Executive Director of Community Impact for Gap Inc., and Meghan Siegal, Creative Director for Arnold Worldwide.

“It was a great experience sharing my knowledge of Career and Technical Education with the audience at Harvard,” says Boettcher. “At Realityworks we know that CTE and pathways are important for our youth and the workforce’s future. I hope we built that support at this conference.”

The Creating Pathways to Prosperity Conference was held March 18-19 at Harvard University. The conference focused on preparing students for a successful future beyond high school by guiding them down the path best suited for them. Some students are a good fit for post-secondary education and others are ready for the workforce and need career training in high school. Sessions addressed several topics including work-based learning, career education programs, postsecondary programs and many more.
