RealCare On-site Training

Through this training opportunity, a certified Realityworks trainer will come to your location for a full day of professional development training using Realityworks' simulators. This professional training opportunity is customized to meet your organization’s needs. Simply provide the location, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Please note: A maximum of 15 attendees per day is recommended. Trainer cost and transportation is included.

RealCare Baby Individual Webinar Training

Through this training opportunity, you will join other educators who use the RealCare Program for a scheduled webinar training session. Each two-hour session will provide training on the fundamentals of RealCare Baby, including Control Center Software, assessment tools, lesson planning and more. 
Cost: Webinar training sessions are available at the low cost of $149 per person.

Through this training opportunity, you will join educators from your school or organization who use the RealCare Program for a personalized group webinar training. This two-hour webinar will review fundamentals of RealCare Baby, including Control Center Software, assessment tools, lesson planning and more.

 Authorized Realityworks Trainers:

Image A lifelong Indiana resident, Wanda Hoover graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Family & Consumer Science Education and from Indiana University with an MS in Secondary Education. She has taught middle school and high school for 38 years, and first began using RealCare Baby (then known as Baby Think It Over) in 1996.  In 1998, she wrote her first grant to purchase a classroom set of Babies. From that point on, every eighth-grade student in her school took Baby home for a weekend, while Wanda continued writing grants every two years to purchase a new set of Babies. A former president of AAFCS-IN, Wanda has served on the AAFCS national conference planning committee, been a speaker at several conferences, coordinated exhibitors at FACS state conferences, is a member of ACTE and the Indiana affiliate of ACTE.  She has also worked with the Indiana Department of Education to assist in the development and revision of various FACS curricula.
