Last week, the National Consortium for Health Science Education (NCHSE) held its annual meeting to update its members on their key 2020 initiatives. Meeting attendees included state health science leaders, educators, associations, and publishers. The opportunity to network and collaborate with elite leaders in health science education from around the country is one of the reasons Realityworks is a member of the Health Science Publishing and Educational Resources section of the NCHSE. As a member and Secretary on the Executive Council for NCHSE, this is one of our most valuable collaborations we have in health science education.

Let’s start with an excerpt from the NCHSE Annual Report. I think it speaks to the value we find in our partnership:
Realityworks has been affiliated with NCHSE for several years. This relationship plays a key role in our marketing plan each year for our health science product lin. Opportunities that our NCHSE membership affords us are many. The multiple ways that we have to get our brand and products in front of decision-makers are extremely valuable. The conference, annual meetings, webinars and many more initiatives make NCHSE the premier health science education organization that publishers and educators look to for collaboration.
It’s been my pleasure to serve on the NCHSE Executive Council for the past two years. I appreciate the ability to be a voice in the conversation along with educators, associations, state leaders and other publishers. The Executive Council has helped facilitate valuable networking opportunities and professional connections I would not otherwise have. This group is full of awesome though leaders in health science education!

Teachers matter!
NCHSE launched the Health Science Educators Association a little over a year ago. Today, over 1,000 instructors have joined this community. Together, they’re helping support each other to freely network and share best practices and concerns.
