Join our email listLooking for an easy-to-use indoor aquaponics system to teach your students core STEM subjects? Our Educational Aquaponics System can help. The self-contained system can add hands-on learning to lessons on math and science. Students can experiment with different plants, fish, and plant growth methods as they grow up to 14 plants and 10 fish at a time.

Grow A Variety of Plants

From lettuce and kale to Swiss chard and cabbage, you can try your hand at growing up to 14 plants in this indoor aquaponics system. The system pumps water up to the plant roots, allowing them to get their necessary nutrients. The LED grow lights mimic sunlight to help the plants grow, and the fans strengthen the plants to reduce injury and disease.

The system comes with a starter kit that includes seeds, a humidity dome, a germination tray, and rockwool, allowing you to start growing right away. You can even experiment with both deep water culture and ebb and flow grow methods! Culminate your aquaponics unit with a healthy treat for students as you harvest the plants together.

Raise a Range of Fish

From goldfish and koi to tilapia and catfish, the fish tank on our indoor aquaponics system can house up to 10 fish. The tank is black to reduce algae growth but has a viewing window to let students see the fish. Worried about feeding the fish over spring break? The tank has a built-in opening for an automatic feeder (not included) for you to use if desired.

Watch the Aquaponics Process

Students can watch as the plants, illuminated by the grow lights, develop. Additionally, the solid waste and biofilter containers in this indoor aquaponics system are transparent, allowing students to see the whole process at work.
