We have seen the question pop up on the internet and get calls all the time asking, “Why is my RealCare® Baby crying when I have the bottle in the right position for feeding?”
We’ve learned that many times participants try to prop the bottle into a position to feed Baby without holding it. In turn, it makes it easier to prop the bottle up and go on with life not truly experiencing the length of time it can take to feed a baby.
RealCare Baby 3 is designed to be held and sense movement while being fed. If the participant props the bottle or breastfeeding device up to Baby’s mouth and does not hold Baby, or if they are holding the Baby without providing any movement, they will hear RealCare Baby crying due to lack of movement. Students cannot prop up the bottle and let Baby feed on its own. The Baby must be held and sense movement throughout the entire duration of the feeding.

Yes, I am an instructor and I brought a Baby home to practice before I set it up for Demo this week and the first weekend this week. Couple of days ago I demoed it and it would not feed. AT ALL — I kknow it needed feeding because it was on demo cycle, and it just screamed (we were in the middle of class so I just turned it off) and then tonight, put on a practice simulation run for an hour and it started crying and then screaming. Went through trying to feed, burp, rock, and change and nothing, just screamed for 5 minutes. Then I pulled a report to see what it needed and it needed to be feed (which was the first thing I tried. The badge beeped and then when the bottle was placed on the mouth nothing–no sucking noises or anything. Need to know what’s the issue. This was two different times on two different babies that the baby didn’t feed.

I just got my realcare baby last night. It went off asking to be fed, but eventually, after no cooing, and almost 6 minutes of feeding the second try (it was 10 minutes on the second time), then it started crying and I know I was holding the baby properly. It went through 3 full cycles of crying! I tried chiming it each time, but nothing. I can rock the baby, burp it, change it, but when it comes to feeding it, there’s nothing I can seem to do. Does anyone have an answer for this? Please tell me.

I have been feeding my baby for about 20-30 minuets then all of the sudden it will start screaming i am moving it and not propping it up and it just wont take the bottle again this has happen 3 times. what am i doing wrong?

My baby will not let me put it down without crying and I am sure that it’s head is supported in the right position why is it doing that? Does a normal real care baby need to be feed within 10 or less minutes of its last feeding?

Yeah I tried feeding my baby with the bottle / breast feeding clip and I thought it was supposed to make the sucking sounds but it’s not. Does that mean it’s not eating
