I used the Swine Litter Processing Simulators in my swine industry unit in an Intro to Animal Science course. We learned all about processing, then used the simulators as hands-on practice. Being able to get away from the classic scissors and paper ear notching was so enjoyable. It was also so fun to be able to apply all the steps of processing and not just focusing on notching so much. The simulators were easy to use and handle as well as very realistic. It was so rewarding to see the students actually apply the steps and get to try all of them. I enjoyed my first set so much I ordered a second set to have one for each group in class.
