The Pregnancy Profile 2.0 Obstetric Simulator is an advanced educational tool designed to provide students with a realistic, hands-on experience of the later stages of pregnancy. This wearable vest simulates the third trimester, allowing students to gain insight into the physical, emotional, and clinical challenges that accompany pregnancy.
The simulator features fetal heartbeat cards and RealityScope™ stethoscope attachments, which allow students to practice fetal heartbeat auscultation, enhancing their diagnostic and clinical assessment skills. In addition, the simulator includes a 38-week fetal insert for practicing Leopold’s maneuvers, enabling students to learn and refine the techniques used to assess fetal position, lie, and presentation—key skills for those pursuing careers in obstetrics, nursing, and midwifery.

How does the fetal heartbeat auscultation feature work?
To auscultate for fetal heartbeat, simply place your desired audio card in the simulator’s belly pouch, attach the stethoscope attachment to a stethoscope, press the power button on the attachment, place the scope over the card’s location in the belly, and listen!
