The ultrasound tract uses sensing technology to simulate 14 ultrasound situations. How does the ultrasound portion of this simulator work?
With the ultrasound tract properly installed, you will use the smart device to decide between practice, simulation, or test modes. The probe is used to find specific landmarks on the reproductive tract and teaches understanding of what you are looking at during an ultrasound.
Can the smart device access Wi-Fi?
Yes! However, you do not need to use Wi-Fi to use the app.

To eliminate the need for lubrication during simulated birth, the lifelike calf is made of neoprene material, allowing for durability during repetitive birthing simulations.

This simulator is a great tool for students to practice what they learn through the 4-lesson accompanying curriculum: Calving Stages and Care, Common Calving Problems, Calf Embryology and Development and Ultrasound. Getting tools like this simulator, that come with curriculum, is a must. Plus, it allows me to do stuff with the kids that would require real animals, and therefore a danger aspect with the animals. But with this, I can give the students the same level of education without bringing in real animals, and that fear factor.
